Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions represent the basis upon which training is offered by Love 2 Pass  Driving school Derby.

1. You must hold a current valid driving licence, provisional, full or international, and produce on or in advance of your first lesson.

2. You must be fit to drive with regard to legal and medical requirements. If you wear glasses or contact lenses these must be worn for your lessons. An eyesight check will be carried out on your first lesson.

3. Payment must be made before the lesson via bank transfer (or cash if agreed), or immediately after the lesson. Late payment are not allowed. You will be informed of any price increases two months before they apply.

4. We reserve the right to amend driving lessons if we are unable to keep the appointment in the event of pre-booked driving tests, mechanical breakdown, sickness, pre-booked holidays or due to immovable traffic, dangerous conditions or family emergencies.

5. At least 24 hours notice is requested to cancel pre-booked driving lessons, or you may be required to pay for late cancellations. If you are late for your lesson then this time will be taken from your allotted lesson time, unless your instructor agrees to adding time at the end of the lesson. If your instructor is late then the time missed will be added to the end of your lesson, if this is not possible then extra time will be added to the next lesson.

6. Failure to keep up with weekly lessons may result in your instructor being unable to supply future lessons.

7. Refunds will not be given for lessons already taken under circumstances.

8. Training sessions will start and finish at the same location unless alternate arrangements are made in advance.

9. Your instructor will determine a location for practical lessons which ensures both the pupils and public safety. This means that the instructor may need to drive the pupil to and from a suitable location; this journey time informs part of the lesson already paid for.

10. Before booking practical Driving Tests, an ADI reference number will be supplied to confirm the readiness of the student driver’s ability for test and for use of the Driving School vehicles. Test booking readiness must be agreed between the pupil and instructor before booking and at least one mock driving test taken. If any doubt exists the instructor reserves the rights to refuse the right to use the driving school vehicle. The instructor reserves the right to not allow the test to go ahead if driving ability is no longer at the appropriate standard.
